Notice of Public Meeting The Clinton County Highway Department will conduct a Public Information Meeting to discuss the proposed removal of the Kent Falls Road Bridge in the Towns of Plattsburgh and Schuyler Falls. The meeting will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Town of Plattsburgh, Meeting Room, located at 151 Banker Road, Plattsburgh, New York. The project proposes complete removal of the bridge (BIN 3335790) that carries Kent Falls Road over Saranac River, which has been closed to all traffic since 1993. The project is being progressed as Project Identification Number (PIN 7753.63), by the Clinton County Highway Department, the New York State Department of Transportation, and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). At present, the project is in the design study phase. Representatives from the Clinton County Highway Department, NYSDOT and Stantec Consulting Services Inc. will be available at the meeting to answer questions and obtain comments on the proposed project from individuals, groups, officials, and local agencies.
