NOTICE TO PUBLIC Regional Water Planning Notice Date: February 15, 2017 Notice is hereby given that the San Jacinto River Authority (SJRA) will submit by 5 pm on February 15, 2017, a grant application for financial assistance to the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) on behalf of the Region H Water Planning Group (Region H), to carry out planning activities to develop the 2021 Region H Water Plan as part of the state’s Fifth Cycle (2017-2021) of Regional Water Planning. SJRA is the administrative agent for Region H. The Region H area includes all or part of the following counties: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, and Waller. Copies of the grant application may be obtained from SJRA when it becomes available or online at www.regionhwater.org. Written comments from the public regarding the grant application must be submitted to SJRA and TWDB prior to TWDB Board action on this application.
